Which level 1 monster do you like the most in Heroes of Might and Magic V?

Don't say that! In the 3rd mission of the Inferno campaign, I gathered about 500 Dryads and wiped everyone out. When you have a lot of Dryads, as with other low-tier units, they bombard the enemy with peas, which deals a lot of damage! Plus, they have a decent skill! In my opinion, Dryads can definitely be considered one of the best low-tier units.
