No, I don't think new artifacts are necessary. It would be better if they made the drop rate of new artifacts more realistic. I've played for a long time, and I still haven't found some of the new artifacts. A set from a set? It's better to be able to collect one set, but here there are two. It won't work.
P.S. Dark and light era artifacts are incompatible in terms of slots. The dark faction has a runic battle axe as one of its artifacts, and the light faction has a unicorn horn bow. Both of them fit in the same slot.
