Dragons of the world of Ashan.

I just read Nick Perumov's book, "Tern." It had something similar to the Great Dragons, but with different creatures of the same colors. However, there weren't enough of those creatures, so they invented new ones and started worshipping them, and through the power of magic, they became... Wouldn't that be a good reason for an expansion – a new race, with a new (or rather, a super-new) patron – not necessarily a dragon, who, pursuing its own goals, tries to take control.
