In my opinion, Elves are very strong. Firstly, the "Arch-Enemy" skill is a very powerful ability for the hero. Secondly, their army is aggressive and proactive (only the Treants have an initiative of less than 10, unless you consider the "Wrath of the Forest" ability of their new upgrade, in which case their initiative is also more than 10). Thirdly, they have the strongest ranged attack. Fourthly, the "Enchanted Arrow" ability is quite valuable, and the new upgrade for Druids will help with it. Fifthly, they have excellent balance within the race itself, which leaves few weak points in attack and defense! Sixthly, they have very strong heroes from the Sylvan faction.
