In my opinion, the Elves are very strong. Firstly, the "Arch-Enemy" skill is very powerful for the hero. Secondly, the army is aggressive and proactive (only the Treants have less than 10 initiative, unless you consider the "Forest Fury" ability of their new upgrade, in which case they also have more than 10 initiative). Thirdly, they have the strongest ranged attack. Fourthly, the "Haste" spell is very effective, and the new upgrade for the Druids will help with this. Fifthly, they have excellent balance within the race itself, which means they have few weaknesses in attack and defense! Sixthly, they have very strong heroes from the Sylvan faction.
