And how did you defeat 150 Greater Dragons with that army, considering that Dragons always go first...?

Silver Pegasus has a speed of 12, grass gives +1, and the Necklace of Swiftness gives +1, totaling 14.
Ghost Dragons have a speed of 14.
So, the Pegasus go first!

Right, I obviously didn't read the tactics properly; I didn't have the ring.

There wasn't a ring; it was a necklace guarded by Minotaurs in the Dungeon!
