At first, I failed the mission about 5 times – the computer defeated me because of my small army. Then I noticed that the first Castle built itself and didn't attack, so I skipped a week and only then took that Castle for myself. After that, I tried not to lose anyone, so I didn't attack the elves with the sectant and the priests at the mine. As a result, I had an army slightly larger than the second computer's, and it holed up in its Castle. In the end, I simply approached the Castle, watched the cutscene, and all the computer's troops disappeared from the Castle. Five turns after that, the third computer came to me with a very large army and besieged my second Castle. The battle was difficult, but I still managed to win thanks to the Cyclops. Then I sailed by boat to the island; at this time, the elves appeared, but they didn't pay attention to me. I killed the elf guard on the island without any problems; again, the Cyclops decided the outcome. And the pirates landed on the island and just stood there (a bug?). I take control of the Castle on the island and clear out the creeps. At this time, the elves come back to life – they get on ships and sail towards me. After sailing over, the light elf besieges my Castle and gets a beating. The dark elf, however, captured the mine and sailed back. I buy troops from the island Castle and sail to the third Castle, while the elf manages to capture both of my first Castles. I had to return and recapture them. After that, having gathered reinforcements from all the Castles, I easily passed the final battle.
