If a peasant has 8 HP, it means someone manually adjusted it on the map or in the scripts. But lately, it's been decided that the optimal peasant stats are not 1...1...1, but 4 HP, 1-2 damage, 1 attack, and 1 defense. I think this peasant variant is much more interesting than the original.
And in general... the strongest creature isn't dragons, but a horde of evil peasants. :smile34: Yesterday, I was playing on a huge map and got to the point where I deployed a hundred upgraded elves (since they died in two hits) and even dragons, and I was running around, wiping out everyone with 1,500 peasants. The main thing is to give them a staff. And with that, they become so tough that it's practically impossible to defeat them. And they multiply in houses like rabbits, 30 at a time from each.
A dark horde of peasants + tents = chaos. Like a swarm of mosquitoes attacking a Lazurite, they'll swarm him and poke him with pitchforks.
