Who has enough powerful magic.

Mages are the most magically inclined race in Heroes. They have a decent chance of learning skills from all four schools of magic. They are versatile; you can basically develop whichever magic you want. And wouldn't that make them effective? I think, Vaishan, you've just gotten too used to Warlocks. Yes, they have the best Chaos magic, and now you want to compare everyone to them? They were created to be the best Chaos users in the game, and no one can compete with them. In my opinion, Mages can definitely master Chaos and use it quite effectively. Don't forget about the new Gargoyles and Golems, which will give Mage Chaos users some advantages. Their Sorcery skill is also not weak (a 30% chance, not amazing, but still a lot), especially considering that it's not difficult to develop education for Mages. Again, it's not Spellpower like with the Titan or Necromancer, but they are still far from the Mage's level. And I think the statement that Mages should focus on Light or Darkness is debatable. They can easily develop two schools of magic, and the combinations can be anything. Although Light + Darkness is also a quite interesting combination.
