I think it's better to stick to two magic schools. Although, for Knights, one might be enough. Standard Light or Darkness for each hero, and then Chaos or Summoning. You always start by strengthening your own creatures or weakening the enemy's, and then you begin attacking with Chaos or Summoning spells.
