I think it would be more useful to post analysis here, rather than just reports – that is, a summary of these reports, specifically:
- what are the key aspects of playing on these fixed maps... because if you look at the reports, you see only two maps – Teleports and 3-Crossroads.
For example, in Teleports, what is more important – to break through the teleports or to rush straight to the opponent? ;)
Or, on Crossroads, it would be good to analyze all three factions – their strengths and weaknesses... and the reports themselves... there doesn't seem to be anything interesting there, so they can be deleted :)
P.S. Secondly, there aren't that many maps (everyone plays on fixed maps), so my suggestion would be more interesting ;)
Of course, such an analysis and description of the key aspects of each map would be much more interesting and informative for players, but where is it, this analysis and detailed description??? (I made something similar for the Teleports map – and it took me several hours in total (and that's just for the yellow color; the game is more complex for green, and it would take even more time to describe everything in detail). I also wanted to do something similar for Hotspot, at least for 3-Crossroads (specifically, as Captain wrote – with an analysis of the situation for each faction (because choosing a faction on these maps is not as straightforward as on Teleports), a strategy for each color turn by turn, what are the pros and cons of one or another development option in the second week). But to create a good, complete article about this, with a detailed, turn-by-turn description of what each hero should do, requires a lot of free time and, possibly, more than one day. Therefore, if someone else joined in, it would be simply wonderful (but only if they write it qualitatively, with arguments, and in detail, turn by turn) (for example, like Captain did in the neighboring topic, describing the game for Phoenix on Teleports – this is clearly not enough for a good and complete article).
Therefore, until there is such material for each map, with a turn-by-turn description and analysis, reading the reports will be very useful for players who are going to play on these maps.
(For example, the excellent and complete report by Deep Mika and Dusta about the 3-Crossroads map was extremely helpful to me, and when I played on it with Lovelace, I based part of my strategy on this report). Also, the reports (at least mine) partially analyze the mistakes that I or my opponent made at certain stages of the game, and how to play to avoid a loss and achieve victory (I hope this will also be useful for players who will play on these maps, and by reading about the mistakes, they will learn from them and try not to repeat them). Reports are also useful because when analyzing the game in the later stages, you can only predict what actions the opponent will take and plan the game accordingly, but in the reports, the player builds his game, seeing the specific actions of the opponent, and this can also serve as useful and necessary information (the main thing is that the reports themselves are complete and informative, and if they only say something like:
"on the second day, I built giants, on the fourth day, I had a final battle with the opponent, where I won" – then such reports are neither interesting nor informative, and there is clearly no point in copying them anywhere)
