--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beholders (also translated as "contemplators" or "evil eyes") are fictional creatures from the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons and the Forgotten Realms universe. They are also considered one of the symbols of another D&D universe, Greyhawk. They often appear in computer role-playing games (see, for example, Eye of the Beholder). One of the most original races in D&D, with almost no analogues at the time of its creation. Beholders were created by editor Harry Gygax and artist Keith Parkinson.
Beholders look like levitating, spherical creatures with a large eye on their forehead and a round mouth with sharp teeth. Beholders have a number of additional small eyes growing on stalks.
Evil eyes possess incredible innate magical abilities that they emanate. They can turn people to stone with a glance, emit lightning, and put opponents to sleep.
Beholders are extraplanar creatures, originating far from Faerûn, on the Outer Planes. They often travel on spelljammers, and in the higher spheres, they are found almost more often than on the prime material plane.
Those evil eyes that live in the Realms usually hide from people in the Underdark or other inaccessible places. They often guard ancient treasures or secret spellbooks. Beholders have a hostile attitude towards representatives of other races; they are arrogant xenophobes who consider themselves a superior race. However, they sometimes still form temporary alliances with other evil races, such as drow and illithids.
they reached the eyes of beholders)
as you can see, all their eyes see;)
of course, D&D and Might and Magic are different things, but the beholder first appeared there, and in different universes, it is almost the same:)(now Ksel will come here and say that I don't know anything and that I'm an idiot -.-)
by the way.... you could have a standing throne, and it would be carried by kobolds) or two ettins)
hmm. as a model for a hero - an illithid riding on a representative of one of the enslaved peoples (don't get me wrong)))
it could be sitting in a saddle, or better yet, on a platform, like a sultan, and the same kobolds with candles and sapper shovels behind their backs would carry it xD
adding another temptation is unoriginal. we need something of our own.
strangely enough, attack and magic are increased by the dungeon. although it increases strangely, now knowledge has been added to this, resulting in powerful magic, and knowledge and attack increase by half.
Vay (oO I shortened the nickname amazingly, sorry if anything:), I just like to shorten), we will all acknowledge the coolness of our favorite castle, but, please, we already have enough of a dog-programmer. it's not worth following in his footsteps...
well, that's just a side note. in my opinion, why not chaos. true, it will turn out something like demons. therefore, you can use a previously unused combination - light + darkness:):):)
it will be funny. and chaos is already just banal.
