Bioware plans to release two more parts of Mass Effect in the near future... but this does not mean that the studio is not working on anything else in parallel...
Currently, they are working on not SWKotOR 3, but a much more promising SWKotOR online!!!
There are not many details yet, but in my opinion, Lucas Arts simply needs to replace the rapidly losing popularity online project Star Wars Galaxy.
