Excuse me, exactly where did I crush and kill your idea?
I think you have two grievances against me:

1. changing the tournament goal, i.e. collecting not vampires, but liches.
2. the tournament has not started yet

answering point by point:

1. As I have already written before, collecting vampires on this map is not an interesting task for the player, because the entire tournament degenerates into simply pressing "end turn" to get the next vampire population. Liches can be collected in the same way as vampires + raising them with the Necromancy skill and Cloak of the Undead King, which adds much more interest to the game process. And I am 99% sure that the majority of people who actually participate in tournaments will support me.
2. The tournament is not started now because there is already a triple tournament underway: that is "Race for the Leader", and tomorrow the annual tournament "Best of the Best" begins. Furthermore, if we look at the calendar, we will see that it is currently December, and therefore students are entering a stressful period, so starting a third tournament at this time would be to doom it to nobody playing it. Therefore, IMHO, this tournament should be held in the new year.

Of course, if you want, I can withdraw my candidacy from the role of host. i.e. You can run it yourself. But if you do not take these two points into account, you will not have a tournament.
