Ranger - "Higher Vampire" [5th Campaign, 5th Mission]

don't bash me for asking a not-so-smart question right away!
how do I complete the mission with the castle siege?
I'm a bit confused.
I freed everyone (but for some reason, there's no "Quest completed" checkmark).
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
