Reports on online games and their confirmations (Winter 2008 season).
That's how it happened. In the first game, I grabbed 2 elven outposts – I spent money on them, but I also took 2 crypts. In the end, I was exactly 40 gold short to build a castle, no matter how hard I tried to get it from somewhere, but I built stables. The respawn point was simply huge; in the second game, I discovered another elven outpost and dragons with a scout, but since I went to reinforce my secondary base, I couldn't grab them under any circumstances. I reinforced the dragons and placed them in the rampart only on the third day; the elves had already retreated, so I could start solving more serious tasks. I decided to check a small dungeon near the capital; the blue faction had already cleared it out. I killed a couple of scouts and grabbed a Necropolis. All of this took time; I needed to go through Conflux to the third Inferno base, and as it turned out, there was a Book of Earth behind a group of hydras. But I wasn't playing attentively because I was distracted. In the end, Valkyrie arrives, and in the final battle, the outcome is decided by an explosion and a lot of mana against the opponent, accumulated with the Thunder Helm. The much-praised aura against magic of the rampart warriors had no effect at all.
