Who am I? Where am I? A world of endless sky, devoid of any landmarks, in its indifferent void erases the prisoner's own "self" and leaves nothing in their mind but a desire for immediate release from this torture that is devoid of physical pain. You fall for a minute, ten, an hour, a day, a week, a month... Years pass, yet the end never comes, and it will continue this way for eternity — you understand this, but you still cannot accept it; boredom drove you mad long ago. But then comes a wonderful moment — something new, previously unseen, happens in the monotonous world of the endless sky; cracks appear in space, and the soul, tired of the infinite fall, briefly gathering the remnants of its lost consciousness together, acquires a new incorporeal form and finds itself in an unfamiliar place. The shapeless soul is surrounded only by black walls, or perhaps not even walls at all, but an infinite "nothingness"; only in the light of candles floating in the air does a pair of non-existent eyes catch a glimpse of an unfamiliar face that simultaneously evokes a sense of déjà vu.
- Hello! - says the owner of the face. - I am Revaniel, and do you remember who you are? Her smile is blinding, but no kindness can be felt in it.
