Knights of Tezoth

Although her native world had been withered by the evil will of a sea goddess who arrived from without, she—colored in the hue of the sun—was granted a chance at a second life in a new home, but it turned into a tragedy. Having been kidnapped by some pirate, she became a victim of the magical experiments of the Calcite Wizard Marduk. He planned to use the life force of all people within the empire's territory to "fill" an otherworldly goddess with it and use this massive energy first to destroy Asuguh's army, and then to conquer the entire world; however, his plan was doomed to fail, as among those in the city was a warrior named Lampre. When his soul left his body, he exploded and destroyed the city, and Marduk along with it. But the goddess still became a vessel for the souls of all who were unjustly killed, first in Calcite, and then across the entire world when it initiated the process of self-destruction. Thus, this collective creation consisting of millions of souls was given the name "Regret" and became a vessel for the element of darkness. Hiding her true nature behind a lovely appearance, Regret enacts revenge on the inhabitants of the new world for the grievances of the inhabitants of the old. She is also the mother of all monsters terrorizing the dwellers of the surface.
