How many factions are there?

You misunderstood me; I meant that creating insect races, a dozen different types of elf races, and a race of mythical creatures from different countries would be excessive. I meant that we don't need to create another 50 races; 5 would be enough. However, if all 50 are original and unique, I wouldn't be against their existence. We just shouldn't get caught up in the "creating new races" craze. As for the interesting aspect, I agree with you.
