Regarding the chronicles, in what format are they kept? Something like a report, or in the format: "Dear diary, words cannot describe the pain and humiliation I have endured..."?

Yesterday we fell into an ambush of bandits, of whom there were about 40 people. Despite their numerical superiority, they failed to defeat us. The battle began suddenly, so we didn't have time to prepare. I remember how one of them attacked our recruit in plate armor and knocked him to the ground with a couple of blows, but somehow the bandit's beard got caught on the recruit's visor and he fell right after. He couldn't detach himself quickly, so the bandit stood leaning toward the ground, trying to untangle himself from the iron. Having lost his weapon, our guy thought of nothing better than to pull the pants off the enemy. Thus, the bearded bandit stood without pants, leaning over the Knight and trying simultaneously to cover his own assets, fight off the man on the ground, and pull out his hair. This continued until one of the Knights drove his sword into the bandit's exposed area. Seeing such a sight, I couldn't help myself and laughed. Unfortunately, during this, I choked on my saliva, which went down the wrong pipe. And considering that I was in armor, no one could help me, although Karl tried to pat me on the back when I leaned over. But after the very first blow, I fell to the ground under the weight of my armor and lost consciousness. I woke up today in the hospital. I don't know how I managed to survive; perhaps this evening someone from our group will tell me the details. For now, I am just lying in bed waiting for my lunch. The servants said they prepared a special pumpkin soup that helps in such situations. I hope it will be tasty.
