I think Ikazkan is a poor comparison; the status of characters there was too chaotic. Today you're handsome, tomorrow you're ugly, the day after you're handsome again. In terms of its structure, you could say it's a fairy-tale world... So in that sense, this expansion is "more stable"; it's harder to get some nasty ailment, but also harder to be cured. Overall, you won't be able to just go to a pharmacy and get rid of an injury; its effects can be somewhat neutralized without own same mega-effort, and if you really set your mind to it, you can cure anything—magic exists, the "Erebos pills" that the lizard mentioned exist too, as do supernatural forces.
