Yes, there is no Conflux in SoD, but if you play AB carefully, they mention at the end of the main campaign that all elementals disappeared to some unknown place, so it's quite logical that there is no Conflux in SoD.
In general, it seems that 2 campaigns in SoD describe some distant events: in the campaign for Jam and Yog, they even have different avatars, like "Jam and Yog in their youth." But in the 6th campaign, everyone has normal faces (like "after many years...")
