The Sage Utar waves his hand in greeting to the newly arrived.
"Mahra! You're just in time! We will collect these fragments for study." "Was it possible to determine its origin?" "Unfortunately, no. The crystal attracts mountain creatures, but where it came from is a mystery!" "One good thing: it is fragile. A single grenadier easily dealt with it," said Utar's companion, picking up one of the fragments. "There isn't much difference compared to an ordinary valuable crystal... I wouldn't be surprised if this is it, but altered by someone's malicious intent." "You are right, Master Corvus. I also tend to think so."
Apparently, the crystal did not pose a threat. But Ida notices something more interesting: some suspicious snowdrift slightly away from the fragments.
While everyone is talking, Ida walks towards the snowdrift and carefully examines it. She gently pokes at it with her foot to check what’s inside.
