vitalic (blue, Tower, Nella) def Sir Invisible (red, Swamp, Tazar) 2SM4D(3) 141
Wow, defeated the toughest one!!! Barely managed to snatch victory from this monster.
We started without restarts. I had a huge respawn, almost a third of the map. A Dragon Utopia on it too, 2 external dwellings of Waspworms, 3 external dwellings of Lizardmen, three of Gnolls, one of Flies :) . Though they were scattered all over the respawn and I couldn't collect them all in time. First Hydras in the castle. Before taking the hive, I transferred the Lizardmen to a scout hero for safekeeping, and then used that same scout hero to enter the hive :) minus 34 Lizardmen and morale -1. I wanted to get defeated and take the Dragon Utopia on day 142 (well, I'm afraid to take Dragon Utopias on weeks 2-3 — still too little experience). On day 136 I entered the underground, found a Fly scroll and started building up magic in the Dungeon. Nella showed up and on day 137 she breaks my chain (already morale -2:) ). I take an external dwelling of Red Dragons, break through 37 Fanatics (losing a Dragon) who guard the prison, and in desperation jump on the horde of Unicorns guarding the Book of Earth. Just enough mana for one Slow, but one stack gets morale and blinds my Hydras. I surrendered after that, because I didn't even have single units to remove the retaliation from the Unicorns, and Nella's pack of Gremlins looked intimidating. I didn't have money to buy my way out. Then Vitalik later told me that I had blundered. I could have delivered troops with the hero from the prison, but I didn't think of that. In short, I won't postpone games anymore — the excitement gets lost. In the Utopia it turned out there was a total of +7 to everything, and with Fly and the Book of Earth it would have been nice to continue.
After the reveal I realized that my respawn was nothing compared to my opponent's respawn — almost half the map was in snow, on which stood three Towers. :smile07:
Thanks for the game!
