How do I disable automatic battles on the map with a specific enemy (story) hero?

Which xdb file can I edit with Notepad to do this, and what should I write?

I think it's mainly in the map's .xdb file, if my memory serves me right. There's something about it in the hero's parameters, with whom you want to disable automatic battles. I think I edited it when I was customizing the Heroes of Might and Magic Remastered. Look for it in the meantime if you need it now. Or wait until I find it and write it down, or until Rommy logs in and writes it down.

Yes, I think that's it. In the main .xdb file of the map (usually the largest xdb file by weight), look for the string "true" (true/false); it seems to be responsible for this. Basically, false means you fight, and true means you can use automatic battles.
