It seems like a fragmented alliance, a standard map, probably size M (medium).
P.S.: There can be different translations, and I might be wrong; I haven't played them much more than the fifth game. At least, this map was offered to me by default in single-player (I think the description mentioned a war for the inheritance or not; fans, forgive me if I'm wrong)). 6 players, look through the maps, you'll find it, or something like a "destroyed alliance" (synonyms are possible in different translations), and it seems like you can't play with 2 players. And Dragonspire is more like a city than a castle; I think Red Dragons are one of the creatures that spawn there.
