Not rushing to rejoice, Dorian wanders through the city streets, hoping and not hoping to see the body torn apart by the Shadow; a sign, a rumor, a commotion, or something new about the mysterious murder. After all, the chances that this happened in the only city in the underworld were the highest.

Dorian learns terrible things – the deadly Shadow did indeed strike Iczakan and took the life of the innocent Kapusta – an awkward, but diligent and kind-hearted girl, after which she hid in a corner, waiting for her next victim. Her plan, however, did not go as planned – this incident attracted the attention of Óna, and she, with Gekizo in her hand, in a brutal confrontation, drove the fiercely-sad Shadow out of the city.
