In their new form, the Krigans instilled terror in the hearts of their enemies. Living fire – this became one of their names. The Krigans behaved like fire – merciless and all-consuming. After them, planetary systems turned into molten chunks of primordial matter. No one could live where the Krigans had passed. The ambiguity of their behavior frightened even more. Fear settled in the hearts of humans, elves, and the other children of the ancients.
