Rurek thought and thought and came up with nothing. He is a craftsman, not an inventor. But for the sake of a personal achievement, he decides to build that very cart after all. It will come in handy in the dungeon. 

Rurek also adopts the misanthrope's belief. Maybe if they had adopted it earlier, they wouldn't have missed the cheesemakers on every first strike...
