So, all that's left of the Dragons is the device that conducts selection and a warehouse with weapons, but they have no knowledge? After a nuclear explosion, knowledge and technology will remain; clearly, something else needs to be devised.
It just looks silly, but think about the plots of modern movies :D. If you really develop this idea, it could become something great that I, you, XEL, anyone would enjoy (at least, it would have worked if Forge had been introduced into the game initially or with a slight delay, but now that literally everything is known about Heroes of Might and Magic, it's very easy to argue that Forge is a bad idea and doesn't fit the spirit of the game).
