The names are random, they also need to be changed. By the way, I never considered samurai to be bodyguards; in my opinion, they are just vassals. There won't be any defensive abilities; the shark guardians will be responsible for defense.

I'll even say more, ordinary samurai were never bodyguards. Bodyguards were elite samurai, specially trained for this job and part of special units, for example, "Hatamoto." And there were only a few of these elite samurai for every thousand; they weren't even perceived as "samurai" in the usual sense of the word, but rather treated as the "shogun's personal guard," for example. And ordinary samurai, as you said, were just ordinary vassals, and not even all of them were nobles; some were just ordinary warriors with many merits who became vassals. And, frankly, the samurai's ability to fight in melee combat was... well... not very good :D In modern anime or other Japanese shows, the skills of samurai are extremely exaggerated. For example, their physical fitness and swordsmanship were hardly better than that of a drunken soldier in rags. But they were trained in cavalry warfare and archery – the most expensive and difficult military disciplines of that time (yes, a good archer had to be trained for at least 10 years. And everything is clear about horses). So... as a warrior, a samurai was at most a Tier 3 unit :D And I would even say Tier 2, because the "swordsmen" of the "Haven" faction (Tier 3 units), if you take their original historical analogue, were much better trained and stronger in melee combat. But if you consider samurai as archers, then this is a well-deserved Tier 3 unit. But not higher, after all, it's just an ordinary archer, not some kind of mage.

P.S. Don't even ask me why I'm writing all this; I just felt like it :D Let's pretend I'm a little crazy :D And yes, the absurdity of my words is even greater because you don't have people, but lizards, so the gradations of human samurai's strength are not applicable to them :D
