Voldemar tells about what happened last night.
- We went to the slums. The sheriff stayed at the entrance, and I was put in charge of the "operation."
- In the house indicated by that scoundrel we brought in, there was no gang. But there was some bald guy. He said that everyone was in the basement next to the house. I decided not to touch him until we dealt with the gang, but that was a mistake. The jerk ran away... I described his appearance to the sheriff; we can put him on the wanted list.
- The gang was indeed hiding in the dungeon next to the house. There were a total of... 15 of them, including the leader. The passage was blocked by traps. Both mobile and stationary. We had to fight our way through them.
- Most of them were thugs with knives and clubs, but there were also seasoned warriors with crossbows, spears, and axes...
- The leader turned out to be an abomination. Now I can confidently say that I "saw" and "even spoke" to it... Unusual. It "played" not with cold, like other creatures of its kind, but with magic that "got into people's heads." It didn't want to surrender. I had to destroy it...
- Only the witch who escaped last time survived. Apparently, she was the "right hand." Possibly a "student"... I handed her over to the sheriff. We should interrogate her after she comes to her senses.
- I don't know who the bald guy was. But he looked like he was disappointed in something. I suspect he was also an abomination. He looks like this
