Agreeing with his opponent and thanking him, Sandar leaves the arena but stays to watch the final. He is curious to see how the tournament will end and whether his colleague from the tavern will win.

That guy was lucky; both his parry and paralysis worked. Paralysis seems to trigger more often than I expected, and I think I overestimated the sanity loss. I just didn't have enough experience to trigger paralysis and deal enough damage.
