Arbalester vs. Archer (Red Arbalester)

Archers are good against opponents who focus on defense. And against attackers, crossbowmen are the best (Precise Shot simply cripples everyone).
It's worth investing in Sudden Attack for Humans and turning crossbowmen into suicide units that take down a strong enemy stack. Enders, hydras, etc. (but in Tribes of the East, they removed Quick Attack >.<). By converting peasants, you can easily replenish the losses of archers.
