At the start, you have 8 fairies and 10 blades, but the packs are unrealistically large (hundreds of level 1 archers, 30 forest archers, bears, and other level 3 units). The hero doesn't have 20 mana, there are no wells, the hero's special ability is weak, there are reinforcements, but they cost money that is hard to come by (only if you run around the entire map and loot free gold, but that takes a week or two, and then suddenly there's a timer on the map). The only decent thing that helped (I started playing as a Warrior) was 30 forest archers for 8000. I somehow scraped together enough for them. As a result, I didn't manage to do it in 6 weeks (I had about 200 out of 300), and I can't even imagine how to complete it as a hero. In general, you've made it too difficult; at least give a larger army so that you can actually clear the starting location and not have to go back and forth, because again, there's a 6-week timer for everything.
You can replenish mana in the village without spending a turn, as well as exchange resources at the market and sell artifacts. For a successful playthrough, I would recommend rushing the gold mine in the corner of the map; it always has light guards. Pink is a master of the game; he managed to complete the map without any tricks. I completed it as a hero, using Luck of the Path, trophies, and treasury to maximize the available gold. It seems there shouldn't be any problems with the starting battles for the stable and obelisk for experience; the bee units destroy everything there, and then you can get gold and build up archer stacks.

+ the hero's special ability allows you to break through those annoying stacks of elven archers in the enemy's army
