The game crashes after I finish a mission.

The last mission of the second campaign is "The Resolution of Agral". The game displays a message saying the campaign is completed, but when I click the close button, it crashes back to Windows. During this mission, I installed patches 1.5 and 1.6 for version 1.4. Could this be the reason? Is there a way to revert them?
