But most IT professionals are office monkeys. Or monkeys working remotely.

But he continued to argue here that the market is terrible and there's no hope in it, in order to deceive fools.

When you have relatives or acquaintances, or are super talented, there are plenty of opportunities (as in any field). But for the average person, there really isn't much to do. They could also work at a cash register, or in delivery, and earn more.
