Several launches - it starts crashing when loading the intro.

It happens. But I don't do any compatibility tweaks or other "voodoo rituals." I just double-click the game shortcut again, and it's fine. And before that, I only installed DirectX 9 and the EXE patch (to increase memory to 4 GB). I installed the game, did what I mentioned above, and I'm playing. GOG version.

If anyone knows how to fix it, please write.

I don't know, but I don't think there's anything to fix. Yes, the game is old, but nothing critical.
