But I didn’t say I liked it. Rather, the core gameplay appealed to me, which is hard to mess up, but the visuals and some other details weren’t particularly impressive. However, the core gameplay was good in almost all installments, at least for their time (I’m not taking the opinions of die-hard fans into account). Although the older parts are outdated in this regard, in my opinion. But visually, they are better than everything that came after.
