Even if you detach yourself from the lore, in Fentoze and Scaifa, the intelligent plants at least have some personality, but here they're just carrying some kind of ficus in a pot on a horse. Actually, I've noticed several times that the heroes in this game lack personality; they're just some kind of semi-abstract thing. Sometimes it's that swarm of worms with the Sylvan, sometimes it's ficuses. Why were even the elementals with Conflux in the third game full of personality, but here it's "Well, it's just a thing that does things, but it's not very intelligent and can't even talk." HOW DO YOU COMMAND AN ARMY IF YOU CAN'T TALK?
