It's not even certain that everything missing needs to be added from alternate upgrades. For example, the Colossus doesn't have a death effect, but the Titan and Thunderlord do, but should the Colossus not have the effect of sparking from the Titan or whatever happens with the Thunderlord? I don't think so.
Added 24 minutes later A dubious undertaking. Ordinary units lack many things (an effect or sound), while the upgraded and alternate upgraded versions have them. This was probably done intentionally. Of course, there are exceptions, such as when the Fury loses the blade glow effect, or the Astral Dragon's eyes, etc.
Just for fun, I installed the basic version of the game 1.6, and the beasts and furies don't have the happy animation; maybe they didn't have time to make it due to production issues, as the game's release was delayed.
