I'm not arguing that in many cases, the transition from "just acquaintances" and "just friends" is more often determined by the woman. But in reality, it's not a one-way street, and "employers" more often encounter "employees" who are looking for a "side gig" for one or two nights and don't want serious and responsible "working" relationships. Not to mention the abusers, jerks, and henpecked husbands (some people actually like that). And let's not forget the situations where the "employee's" mother interferes in the "work process" and ruins everything. Contrary to old jokes about mothers-in-law, the mothers of female employers rarely create problems.
