In the case of my husband, it was a long time ago, in 2012. But for this guy, it was in the 20s, to be more precise, somewhere around 2021-2022.

I don't really like IT guys. I only got along with one decent developer from the CIS region in real life; the rest are some kind of quintessence of Indian curry, tolerant and agenda-driven procedure writers, and recent chat-GPT enthusiasts with an inflated ego and demands for triple the salary and endless remote work just for the fact of their divine existence.
Not all of them are like that. At least my husband and a couple of other acquaintances. But they all have in common that they are not incels, they don't earn exorbitant salaries, they are capable of having a normal conversation, and they don't suffer from an inflated ego. In the case of my husband and another guy, it's even the opposite; it's lowered.
