Another post-war, relatively unknown brand.
The aroma is more briny than lacquered, quite alcoholic, but it does have rare notes of quince, perfume, and herbs, which are not usually found in cheap bourbons.
The taste is quite neutral, not particularly sweet, and the 40% ABV is a drawback. It has a vanilla-woody flavor and is easy to drink.
If there's nothing better available at a reasonable price, it will do.
