After wandering around enough, he returns home to check his email, which will probably be empty anyway, take care of some things, and then relax, making it a new habit to block all exits from his little room at night. If there's no other option but to skip ahead to the 10th (12th) level, I'd like to use that time to read up on Ravshan (primarily) and Shina; there's probably something about them in the reading room.
