To avoid engaging in pointless debate, I will provide you with a detailed answer regarding the development of the Conflux and Castle, specifically in terms of their cost-effectiveness, tomorrow.
Regarding the strength of the mages and warriors of the two factions.
Indeed, Sir Mullich is the strongest hero; I simply forgot about him. In my patch, he has been nerfed. In general, warriors are usually chosen for large, random maps. For example, a warrior finding the Cloak of Negation or the Red Sphere of Prohibition will simply negate all the magical advantages of any mage, and their army will be destroyed. Furthermore, in utopian scenarios, when the armies are still relatively small, the combat skills of warriors are better at breaking through enemy lines.
Mages, on the other hand, are better on smaller, more fixed maps, when the armies are small. Then, a hero with magical skills, such as Wisdom, Air, and Sorcery (which enhances magic power), can arrive at the opponent's location at the end of the first week or the beginning of the second week and kill everyone with lightning bolts. A warrior or a less pronounced mage will not be able to do anything.
So, the heroes of the Conflux are specifically designed for this type of magical warfare. As they level up, they gain mana and spell points, while the mages of the Castle and their secondary skills are weaker, and they gain not only magical parameters but also combat skills.
There's Loïn with Prayer, and in my patch 3.2, it's also been nerfed. Although, even with that, it will be difficult for him to repel an attack from an Elementalist, etc.
