Looking at the bowl of soup, Erika was only asking herself one question... Well, two: how did she get here, and where did Jack go?
Continuing to examine the bowl of soup and ponder what had happened, Erika was overcome by a wave of memories... She woke up early in the morning and asked to use the kitchen to prepare breakfast, not only for herself, but also for other people who would be starting a new day within the walls of the city administration. Having confirmed that she was not some kind of nobody or a Haranian spy, but a sixth-circle mage of the Guild of Wonders, the soldier on guard did not object to her proposal. Erika boiled water in a large pot, threw Jack in, and covered it with a lid, continuing to hold it tightly until he was cooked and calmed down. Then she took him out of the pot and cut him into many small pieces, setting them aside. After that, she peeled the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and cooked them for about half an hour over a low heat, while simultaneously throwing the remains of the sentient mushroom into a frying pan with carrots and onions. When everything was fried, she threw the contents of the frying pan into the pot with the already cooked potatoes. After that, she poured thin vermicelli and some basic greens into the pot. After some time, the soup was ready, and when it had cooled to a tolerable temperature, it was served in the dining room. When she came out of her "trance," she had already managed to taste a few spoonfuls of excellent mushroom soup. The other people in the dining room were also satisfied with the taste.
