Well, I've been playing since '99 with different factions, including Inferno. I can easily win on impossible difficulty, but that's because the AI doesn't really understand how to use the strengths of its faction or recognize the weaknesses of mine.
But playing Inferno against a human player is practically suicide (unless the Inferno player is significantly better than their opponent).
By the way, I still haven't found anyone who genuinely loves and plays Inferno the most. I think that says something.
I've been playing since '98. Out of 9 years of playing, I've spent 8 playing as Inferno (of course, I also play other factions well). Many people think this faction is "underpowered"... I completely changed the opinions of my friends and rivals about this faction...
It's my favorite faction, and I play it the most.
