What is more important: luck or fighting spirit?

For Necropolis or Conflux, I'll take luck; for other castles, I'll take leadership. But I'll only take one of them as a last resort. In some cases, morale is worse than luck, but they are very useful in certain situations. In my opinion, morale and luck should be increased with artifacts (preferably with one artifact).
