Which is stronger, a Castle or a Conflux?

I am 100% sure that Conflux is the best faction. Building Archangels and Angels requires an INCREDIBLE amount of resources, and even without building Knights and Chickens, it's difficult to manage the resources to reach 20 of each resource and 40,000 gold. And the purchase price is very high!
